Using CGCI Data
The Cancer Genome Characterization Initiative (CGCI) is collecting, characterizing, and analyzing cancer samples from patients with a variety of rare cancers. Projects are conducted through four phases, from project initialization, to sample characterization and analysis, to sharing data and resources with the research community.
Much of the data collected and processed by the CGCI program is currently available at the Genomic Data Commons (GDC), including clinical and molecular data:
- Primary data is available at the GDC Data Portal
- Analysis files from publications are in the “Supplemental Data” section of GDC publication pages.
