What are rare endocrine tumors?

Rare endocrine tumors form in glands or in cells that produce hormones. These include your thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary glands, and cells in your pancreas. Endocrine tumors can be called by different names depending on where they are in the body or what type of cell they look like.
