NCI's Cancer Information Service (CIS) can help answer your cancer-related questions whether you are a patient, family or friend, health care provider, or researcher.
Since 1975, we have been providing accurate, up-to-date, and reliable information that is easy to understand. CIS is a free and confidential service. Our trained information specialists provide personalized responses to a range of cancer topics, including:

- symptoms and risk factors
- treatment
- tissue donation
- living and coping with cancer
- finding cancer treatment
- cancer research and clinical trials
- questions about NCI and its programs
Need help with quitting smoking?
