Rebekah Mikeasky

NCI Communications Fellow

 Rebekah Mikeasky helps with DCB communicate basic cancer research findings with the broader community. Some of her work includes interviewing and writing about DCB-funded cancer biology researchers, creating FAQs about the DCB New Grantee Workshop, and creating content for the Human Tumor Atlas Network (HTAN) Twitter account. 

In addition to her DCB work, she is also a member of the NCI Fellows Editorial Board and the NCI CCR Fellows and Young Investigators (FYI) Association Newsletter Team.

Background

Before coming to NCI, Ms. Mikeasky studied the interactions between disease-associated genetic variation and the inhibitory effect of small molecules on degenerative pathways relevant to age-relevant macular degeneration.
