We're Hiring an Implementation Science Program Director!

The Center for Global Health supports multiple initiatives to accelerate the implementation of evidence-based cancer control and prevention interventions in low- and middle-income countries.
As a Program Director/Health Scientist Administrator, you will be part of a scientifically energizing and collegial environment with ample opportunities to:
- Manage a portfolio of extramural research in cross-disciplinary global health and implementation science;
- Develop research and funding priorities to cultivate a diverse portfolio of NCI-supported research;
- Lead and participate in cross-disciplinary collaborations in public, private, and academic sectors;
- Develop national and international scientific programming (e.g., symposia, special journal issues and supplements, conferences, and workshops);
- Conduct independent research, publish, and present at professional meetings;
- Inform documents and reports to advance the implementation science agenda in global cancer control; and
- Mentor scientific fellows and trainees.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should possess a Ph.D. Sc.D. Ed.D., M.D., Dr.PH, or equivalent in areas relevant to cross-disciplinary implementation science and/or global health research (e.g., behavioral science, psychology, sociology, public health, epidemiology, behavioral genetics, health economics, systems science, and related areas). We are especially interested in candidates with experience conducting research in low- and middle-income countries and with the translation of research findings into practice.
