Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice Delivered CURE Distinguished Scholars Seminar, October 9The first woman to serve as President of the Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM)—Valerie Montgomery Rice, MD, FACOG—delivered the most recent seminar in the Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Distinguished Scholar Seminars (DSS). Dr. Montgomery Rice, who is both President and Dean of the institution, has made significant contributions in the areas of health equity, women’s health, and physician and scientific workforce diversity, among others.
