VIP
This chemotherapy combination contains the drugs etoposide (VP-16), ifosfamide, and cisplatin (Platinol). Combinations usually work better than single drugs because different drugs kill cancer cells in different ways.

Use in Cancer
VIP is used to treat:
- Testicular cancer that is advanced. It is often used in patients who cannot receive bleomycin sulfate.
This combination may also be used with other drugs or treatments or to treat other types of cancer.
