This combination contains the chemotherapy drugs vincristine sulfate, doxorubicin hydrochloride (Adriamycin), and methotrexate and the steroid hormone prednisone. Combinations usually work better than single drugs because different drugs kill cancer cells in different ways.

Use in Cancer
VAMP is used to treat:
- Hodgkin lymphoma in children. It is used with radiation therapy for cancer that is low risk.
This combination may also be used with other drugs or treatments or to treat other types of cancer.
