The search textbox has an autosuggest feature. When you enter three or more characters,
a list of up to 10 suggestions will popup under the textbox. Use the arrow keys
to move through the suggestions. To select a suggestion, hit the enter key. Using
the escape key closes the listbox and puts you back at the textbox. The radio buttons
allow you to toggle between having all search items start with or contain the text
you entered in the search box.

Técnica utilizada para observar los genes o los cromosomas en las células y los tejidos. Se agregan a las células o los tejidos trozos de ADN preparados en el laboratorio que contienen un tinte fluorescente y se colocan en un portaobjetos de vidrio. Cuando estos pedazos de ADN se unen a genes o áreas específicas de los cromosomas en el portaobjetos, se encienden cuando se los ve bajo un microscopio con una luz especial. También se llama hibridación fluorescente in situ.
