2013 Budget Request
NCI has carefully reviewed its current expenditures and found important efficiencies and savings. This 2013 budget request consists of two components:
- The increase required to maintain our present level of operations (current services).
- The increase required to start new initiatives and expand existing ones in areas that will make the greatest difference in reducing cancer incidence and mortality.
