Definition:

cryosurgerylisten (KRY-oh-SER-juh-ree)

A procedure in which tissue is frozen to destroy abnormal cells. Liquid nitrogen or liquid carbon dioxide is used to freeze the tissue. Also called cryoablation and cryosurgical ablation.
